Wadhams Free Library Board of Trustees Meeting August 30, 2023

Annie called the meeting to order at 7:05.

Present were Judy, Annie, Joan, Ray, Matt, Liz, Marilyn, Kris, Mary, and Bridgette.

The purpose of this meeting was to discuss whether the Wadhams Free Library would agree to become the fiscal sponsor for the Lilac Festival Project of the Flowers Plus Committee of the Westport Wadhams Community Alliance as per the Wadhams Free Library Fiscal Sponsor Agreement, Re: The Lilac Festival Project. After discussion a motion was made by Marilyn for the Library to act as a pass through organization as a non-profit 501(c)(3) for The Lilac Festival Project until their application for their 501(c)(3) is approved. This was seconded by Joan and passed by all.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:45. Attached is a copy of the Fiscal Sponsor Agreement

The Wadhams Free Library will hold a regular meeting on Thursday, August 10th at 7 pm in the Library. The public is invited to attend.  

Future library meetings in 2023 will be held every other month on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
